output at zero psi. Most compressor's cfm ratings will drop as the pressure increases. Mi-T-M
rates their compressors at 100 psi for single stage pumps and at 175 psi for two stage pumps.

Single Stage or Dual Stage. What's the Difference?
Single stage pumps deliver the air from all cylinders in one cycle. The air goes directly from the
cylinder into the tank. The result is a greater volume of air at the sacrifice of pressure.
Dual or Two stage pumps transfer the air from the primary or low pressure cylinder to the
secondary or high pressure cylinder. The air is further compressed by the high pressure cylinder.
The result is a higher pressure with a sacrifice of volume.
